If you caught the last episode of Mad Men, our fair city of Rye got a plug.
Betty Francis, the divorced wife of Don Draper, floated the idea of moving from Ossining to Rye (good idea!). From Movieline's episode summary:
"When Betty finds Sally with Evil Glen — who himself is hastening to run away — the mother scolds her daughter and later floats the idea of moving house. Henry happily suggests Rye, N.Y. “Isn’t that where Playland is?”"
