Rye Candidate Forum Tonight at The Osborn (October 24, 2011)
Tonight (Monday, October 24, 2011) at 7pm there will be a candidates forum at The Osborn (the retirement home, not the school) in the auditorium.
This is one half hour earlier as originally scheduled. The candidates for County Legislature go at at 7pm, ahead of the 7:30 Rye City Council candidates. The evening includes a question and answer session and should conclude by 9PM. There are six candidates who are running for the three seats on the Rye City Council. The program is free, open to the public, and plenty of parking will be available at The Osborn.
The program is sponsored by the Sterling Park Residents’ Association Civics Committee at The Osborn.
Directions to The Osborn, located at 101 Theall Road in Rye, NY: From I-95, Exit 19 (Playland Parkway), take the first exit to Rye. Turn right at the stop sign. Turn left at the next street, Theall Road. The Osborn entrance will be on your left (914-925-8200).
