State of the City Address & More: Items on the Rye City Council Agenda for January 11, 2012

The city council's agenda for its meeting on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 is out. See you at 8:00pm in Council Chambers in City Hall. 

Meetings are also aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (live and archive). The office hours of the Mayor on will be held from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Mayor’s Conference Room. The Council will convene at 7:30 pm in Executive Session to discuss real estate matters.

Let's check the batting order and highlights from the 24 agenda items.

  • Our Little Union. The State of the City Address by the Mayor.
  • Seed Fund.Resolution to accept a donation from the Key Bank Foundation to the Rye Nature Center in the amount of $4,000.
  • Doug's Details. Mayor’s Management Report – Update on the Flood Mitigation Sluice Gate Project
  • Sweet Caroline-a Johnson. Discussion on a Resolution to establish a Flood Advisory Committee.

The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The meeting will be preceded by a Workshop on the Fire Department beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
