North County Pol Jumps Into Oppenheimer Seat Race

A local pol from New Castle has jumped into the race to replace Suzi Oppenheimer, who recently announced she would not seek re-election. Diane DiDonato-Roth, a Republican from New Castle, will battle it out with local New Rochelle resident and Republican Bob Cohen. Cohen came close to toppling Oppenheimer in the last election.
On the Democratic side, George Latimer is considering a run. And of Latimer takes a pass, look for former Rye Mayor Steve Otis to jump in.
