Birds of Prey 1pm Saturday at Rye’s Edith Read Sanctuary
Have you ever met a master falconer?
You can this Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1pm at Rye's Edead Wildlife Sanctuary (just behind the Playland Parking lot).
The "Live Birds of Prey" program will feature a close encounter with hawks, falcons, and owls. Learn about the natural history of falconry and native raptors’ habitats and adaptations. If the weather is good, there will be outdoor flight demos, including exciting hunting and prey-capture behaviors. This free, family-friendly program will be presented by Master Falconer James Eyring.
