Cohen To Run for Suzi Oppnheimer’s State Senate Seat

In a news announcment sent IN ALL CAPS over the weekend (WRITING IN CAPS is kind of like SCREAMING IN EMAIL), local businessman Bob Cohen announced that he plans to announce he will run for State Senate. ANNOUNCE THAT YOU WILL ANNOUNCE, YOU HAVE TO LOVE THAT…

Cohen will run for the 37th District on the Republican ticket – the seat he almost took from Suzi Oppenheimer in the last election. Oppenheimer is retiring. It is thought that local State Rep George Latimer may run on the democratic ticket but he remains undecided.
