Rye School Lockdown Tuesday Afternoon

Dear Parents,
The Rye Police have notified Rye High School, Rye Middle School, and Midland School that they are chasing an individual on foot in the Playland Road area. The three schools are in lockdown until the police provide further information.
At 1pm, the Rye PD sent an alert looking for a suspect on foot:
Alert: Police searching for male black 6' blue coat area of Milton Rd/Inter vale wanted by State Police suspicious activity call 911
Search underway vicinity of Milton Road/Interale. Male black six feet wearing blue coat wanted by State Police. If you see suspicious activity please call 911.
