RGC BOMBSHELL: POOL DIRECTOR, GROUNDS KEEPER SAY THEY DO NOT KNOW EMPLOYEES RM STAFFING BILLED TO THEIR DEPARTMENTS

The Rye Golf Club/RM Staffing scandal took another turn into the ridiculous last night when long-time city employees Gary Galante (Pool Director) and Chip Lafferty (Head Grounds Keeper) told a room full of club members and commissioners that they do not know the employees RM Staffing billed to their respective departments–employees that would have worked thousands of hours under each manager’s daily supervision for years.

  2. And where is the Central Avenue Bridge on this agenda? It’s been months since the Filippi fistpump and City Council self-congratulatory shenanigans for securing the funding for the bridge 5 1/2 years after its destruction. At the last meeting, Pickup said the equipment ELQ was going to mobilize for the Central Ave Bridge had been diverted to help with Sandy cleanup. It’s been nearly one month since Sandy and I can tell you NOTHING is happening at the Central Ave Bridge (fistpump that Filippi, you flippin’ fool). I guess, like RM Staffing is the only staffer in the area, ELQ is the only company with heavy equipment. According to the City website, we should be having a opening ceremony for the bridge some time between May and August 2013. I just went to the Second Last Annual Scary Bridge Party for Halloween. I’m sure I’ll be going to a Third Last Annual Scary Bridge Party. Given the incompetence at every level of the current Rye City government, odds are good there will be a Fourth Last Annual Scary Bridge Party. A fistpumping Filippi will be a great costume!!!

  3. BOMBSHELL II: FAMILY MEMBERS OF CITY MANAGER’S ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT EMPLOYED AT GOLF CLUB MISSING FROM CITY PAYROLL

The name “S—– Militana” appears on the punch code list that’s hung on the walls in numerous locations at Rye Golf Club all year long. The daughter of City Manager Scott Pickup’s administrative assistant, Eleanor Militana, can also be identified by her corresponding RGC employee punch code ID, 689. She is listed under the heading of Pool Employees and the sub-head of Seasonals–as in seasonal City of Rye employees. The younger Ms. Militana’s name, however, cannot be found anywhere on the city payroll of RGC employees for 2012 or 2011–which was posted by Mr. Pickup months after it was required to be, by law.
