Middle Schoolers: “DONATE A CAN, FILL THE VAN”
Reach out Rye is teaming up with County Harvest of Westchester to collect food for the Don Bosco Center in Port Chester.
The slogan is "DONATE A CAN, FILL THE VAN" and they are running a GRADE LEVEL competition to collect 6 specific foods:
6th grade is collecting COFFEE and CANNED FRUIT.
7th grade is collecting PASTA SAUCE and TUNA.
8th grade is collecting JUICE and WHITE RICE.
All donations can be dropped off in the bin outside the RMS main office near the flagpole by NOVEMBER 15.
The winning grade gets a pajama day, besides the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping stamp out hunger in Westchester!
