Pickup Out as Rye City Manager

Well, this is not a surprise.

Rye City Manager Scott Pickup is out. Pickup had come under heavy criticism during the Rye Golf Club scandal. And there was never too much love lost between between Pickup and Rye Mayor Joe Sack.

Pickup is formally out July 10, 2014 after a four year reign. He is being handed a $59,375 severance payment on the way out the door.

Not word on a new city CEO.
