Rye finally got a fourth home game this season, the first time since ’08. But look what the Section One Schedulers delivered – the Top-3 Seeded, Class AA SCARSDALE RED RAIDERS. Obviously this season Rye’s color wheel is dominatedby Maroon and White. Interestingly there is a prior history between these two quality School Districts. In nineteen straight seasons from ’48 to ’66, the Raiders attacked the Garnets almost always as the seventh season game immediately preceding Rye/Harrison. Rye holds the dominant sabre at 15-5-0 (.750). And oh yes, who is on the Raiders’ staff after an unceremonious departure from Harrison? None other than former Head Husky Artie Troilo, Jr. You can’t make this stuff up! WRECK THE RED RAIDERS ! ! !
