Subject: MS/HS Campus Evacuated Briefly Due to Smell of Gas
The Middle and High School campus was evacuated this morning as a precaution due to a strong smell of gas in one of the Middle School science classrooms. The Rye Fire Department arrived, inspected the building, found no danger, and cleared it for re-entry. The students were outside the buildings for no longer than 10 minutes and are now safely back inside.
Thank you.
