All month of October Rye Professional Fire Fighters Local 2029 members will be wearing pink shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pink shirts are also for sale for $20. All proceeds go to Sole Ryeders, a local cancer support group in Rye. If you would like to purchase a shirt and support the fight against breast cancer, you can stop into fire headquarters at 15 Locust Avenue or go to the Local 2029 web site. Sizes range from youth-small to adult-XXL.
