On the evening of May 6th, ten High School Mandarin students, from grades 9 to 11, visited the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Midtown Manhattan, accompanied by their teacher, Sheau-Yuann Huang.
The students enjoyed a tour of the Consulate, prepared and then sampled some authentic Chinese dishes, and honed their skills at traditional handicrafts including calligraphy and paper cutting.
