In what will be the 59th renewal of a football series initiated in the ‘20s, a fellow SWIAC and CWL charter member, the EASTCHESTER EAGLES rank 2nd all-time of Garnet foes by the number of games played. Rye and the Navy and Scarlet pecked each other for 50 straight years from ’38 to ’87. Only twice since ’84 have the Eagles soared to victory and ’16 will not be the third as the Garnets bring the bird down again with the rookery ledger at 44-12-2 (.786%). EGG THE EAGLES ! ! ! ! !
