SCHOOL BUDGET VOTE Tuesday, May 15, 2018

The school budget vote and board of election candidate vote is on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. The single polling place is the Rye Middle School gym (3 Parsons Street) and voting hours are 7am until 9pm.

You don't have a right to complaint about the outcome if you don't vote…

The $89 million dollar school budget for the 2018-2019 school year is tax cap compliant with a 2.67% increase over the prior year.

For the Board of Education, there are three candidates for three available seats, so like last year, it is an uncontested election: Chris Repetto (running for re-election), Kelly Smith-Powers (running for re-election) and Callie Erickson (running for election for the first time). Nancy Pasquale declined to run for re-election.
