RESILIENCE documentary

We’ve got a bunch of local groups – Rye Schools, Rye Prez, Rye ACT, Rye Youth Council – screening (and discussing) the documentary Resilience tonight, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7pm – 8:30pm at  Rye Presbyterian Church, 882 Boston Post Road.

Resilience is a one-hour documentary that delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement to treat and prevent toxic stress. Recognized to be one of the drivers for conditions as diverse as heart disease, cancer, substance abuse and depression – extremely stressful experiences in childhood are understood to alter brain development and have lifelong effects on health and behavior.

There is no cost.
