Welcome to the Rye Free Reading Room & MyRye.com Storytelling Project, Episode #1!

Over the last few weeks we have asked various Rye citizens – elected officials, city staff, community leaders and local authors – to read a story for the youngest citizens of Rye. Starting today, we will share a new story each day.

Today, Rye Mayor Josh Cohn kicks us off by reading Todd Parr’s The Peace Book. Cohn is a 29-year Rye resident and lives on Green Avenue on Milton Point. He has one daughter and does consulting work after retiring several years ago from law practice.
