Welcome to the Storytelling Project, Episode #18 with Julia B Fee Sotheby’s Judy Croughan
Over the last several weeks the Rye Free Reading Room and MyRye.com have asked various Rye citizens – elected officials, city staff, community leaders and local authors – to read a story for the youngest citizens of Rye. We are now pleased to be showcasing local Rye merchants (if you are a local merchant, and would like to participate, please get in touch).
Today, Julia B Fee Sotheby’s Judy Croughan reads Eric Carle’s Little Cloud.
We asked Croughan about the current real estate market. “Requests for short term rentals from NYC clients are through the roof, and rentals in general will be in demand. Rentals are being done sight unseen,” Croughan told MyRye.com. “Although that has happened in a couple of instances with purchases, it is less common. We are already seeing a lot of demand with less inventory that is ready to go, but it is unclear at this point what the impact will be on prices. Virtual tours are very popular and the market is heating up with deals getting done, even in this new environment as we approach a full re-opening.”
Croughan has been a real estate agent in the Rye area for the past 17 years. She raised her children here, and loves everything this area has to offer.
