City Council Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month Thursday, 5pm on Village Green
On Thursday, June 18th at 5pm on the Rye City village green there will be a presentation of the city council resolution declaring June LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The event is open to the public.
It is expected there will be remarks from Rye Mayor Josh Cohn, city council members and pRYEde co-founders. There will be a “pandemic friendly” arts and crafts table for children and a musical performance by three talented Rye youth singers. Small hand-held pride flags will shared.
The event is expected to last twenty minutes.
