Drunk Driver at 2x Legal Limit Arrested in Rye Friday
The New York State Police arrested a 29 year-old man during a vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in Rye this past Friday. The man was driving while drunk with a blood alcohol content at twice the legal limit.

On June 12, 2020, at approximately 5:00 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the city of Rye, for several vehicle and traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Oliverio Vicente-Vicente, 29, of Bridgeport, CT, was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%.
Additionally, Vicente has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony. He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Rye Court on June 26, 2020.
