PD Arriving on Track 4. July 15. Station Plaza. CONTROL REPORTS AN UNRESPONSIVE PARTY ON AN INCOMING TRAIN ON TRACK #4. EMS DISPATCHED. BACKED MTA.

Not LOVE(ing)RYE. July 15. Franklin Avenue. CALLER WISHES TO DOCUMENT THAT SOMEONE CAME ONTO HER PROPERTY AND REMOVED A SIGN. RESIDENT DOES NOT WISH TO PURSUE CRIMINAL CHARGES. RESIDENT STATES SOMEONE TOOK “SUPPORT OUR POLICE” SIGN FROM HER FRONT YARD. FEMALE BLOND HAIR PASSENGER OF LAND ROVER POSSIBLE SUSPECT.

Just Ugly. July 15. Rye Town Park / Dog Park. male caller states there are four men in their 30’s, male whites and male Hispanics sitting on a bench in the area of the park between Forest Avenue and the duck pond. Caller states these men are drinking and shouting racial profanities. Cars 11 and 10 sent. CONDITION RESOLVED.

PO Staffiero reports spraining his left wrist handcuffing a suspect from 20-11276. Officer Injured On Duty. PO TORRES REPORTS INJURING HIS LEFT SHOULDER WHILE HANDCUFFING A SUSPECT FROM CAD20-11276.

After-party from Rye Grill & Bar Fight? July 16. Soundview Avenue. Report of a loud party. Call came in late on the 4-12 tour.

Don’t Blow It! July 16. Theodore Fremd Avenue. Complainant from Rye Manor reports landscapers running power equipment prior to 0730hrs. Elm company workers advised of City Code.

Honest Mistake, Mom Feels Very Guilty 🙁 July 16. Cedar Place. Assist Rye Fire Department. Caller reports child locked in vehicle. FD dispatched. MOTHER ON SCENE ACCIDENTALLY LOCKED CHILD IN VEHICLE. FD GAINED ENTRY TO VEHICLE WITHOUT INCIDENT AND CHILD REUNITED WITH MOTHER. 98.

Party Over. July 16. Colby Avenue / Fraydun Place. caller on tip-line states there is a large noisy party taking place at said intersection. requests police intervention to quiet down subjects involved. cars 10 and 12 sent. RESIDENT ADVISED TO LOWER THE NOISE.

No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk. July 17. Playland Parkway / Playland Access Road. Report of a milk truck dumped several cases of milk. Cartons removed from roadway and placed on the side of the road for dpw @old post/playland access. No cereal on scene.

The Babysitter Did It. July 17. John Jay Place. Alarm-Burglary. babysitter on scene with improper password no one on scene, checked exterior, located unlocked rear door, spoke to homeowner via ring doorbell, they advised to lock rear door without interior check. rear door secured.

Turn Down the Volume. July 18. Courtyard Marriott. 631 Midland Avenue. Mgr. from the Courtyard by Marriott reports that a man who was not a guest of the hotel intentionally damaged a TV remote control in the lobby and left. Suspect is earlier arrestee. Smashed a remote control on the lobby floor. Sworn statement and owner’s deposition report completed by manager.

Careful, Could be Knee-CAPped. July 18. Scotch Caps, Milton Harbor. Vessel In Distress. Report of a party in need of assistance.

Sinking Feeling. July 19. Milton Harbor. Placed warning tags on 3 moorings and 1 float from the list of violations sent by the boat basin supervisor. 1 float already had a violation tag and unable to do 1 mooring do to no way to attach the tag.

It’s Found Money. July 19. Property Found Rye PD HQ. 21 McCullough Place. complainant found wallet turned into Rye Police HQ.

It’s Been a Bad Mooring. July 21. Greenhaven / Milton Harbor. Mooring Complaint. Responded to Greenhaven with the boat basin supervisor to check a complaint of a floating dock that is falling apart. Tagged the dock along with 3 other docks without permits. Boat basin supervisor has the gps coordinates for follow up.

Sleeping with the Fishes. July 21. Playland Cove. caller reports a life preserver in cove attached to something. caller felt it was suspicious. Responded to the area and PB 2 and located the life Jackets at 40.57.723 N 073.40.462 W. Attempted to pull the up the line that was attached to the life preserver, to heavy to lift by hand. It appears to be either a make shift mooring or an anchor that is caught on something and was marked by the owner.

What Part of LOCK YOUR CARS is Not Clear? Oy! July 22. Grandview Avenue. Trespass of Real Property. Caller reports 2 youths wearing hoods going into parked cars. Caller stated he observed 4 youths going through his vehicle then proceeded on foot s/b on Grandview Av and split up just past Hillside Rd once units arrived on scene. All wearing hoodies. One with tights and white lettering. car 12- canvassed area with negative results car 16 canvassed area neg results canvas area, nothing seen. will remain in the area.
