Newbies: Rye Middle School Welcomes Francesca Diamente, Engineering, Project Lead the Way Technology Education/Industrial Arts

The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.

Rye Middle School welcomes Francesca Diamente, Engineering, Project Lead the Way Technology Education/Industrial Arts

Ms. Diamente comes to Rye Middle School as a recent graduate from SUNY New Paltz. Her technical skills include 3D printing and modeling, computer-aided design, programming, and app development. She also has experience with electrical engineering, civil engineering and design, and technical software. She completed her student teaching at New Paltz Middle School. She worked as a substitute teacher and did fieldwork at the New Paltz Middle School and the Warring Magnet School of Science and Technology. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master’s in Teaching Childhood Education, both from SUNY New Paltz.
