Tropical Storm Tuesday Prompts Rye PD Warning

Batten down the hatches before Tuesday morning:

“(RPD) This is the City of Rye Police with a weather advisory – The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for late Tuesday morning through the early Wednesday morning. We can expect flooding rain, possible coastal flooding and strong wind with wind gusts up to 55 miles per hour. Please make sure all outside objects like patio furniture, umbrellas, garbage cans etc. are secured. Never enter flooded areas or roadways. Move vehicles from flood prone areas. Stay away from downed wires and trees. Have cellphones charged, flashlights and batteries on hand. Never run generators indoors.
