Wile E. September 10. Milton Road / Parsons Street. Coyote Sighting.

Barking at Neighbor. September 10. Anchor Drive. resident from __ Barlow lane states that the dogs from _ Anchor are left outside to bark for hours. caller states this happens every day. caller states that she tried to speak to resident of _ anchor about this but resident of _ anchor was confrontational and argumentative and threatened to file a report against __ Barlow if she asks her about her dogs again. po belloise dispatched. DOG HEARD BARKING ONCE; FOR LESS THAN 10 SECONDS, OVER A 10 MIN OBSERVATION PERIOD.

Was It Locked? September 11. Milton Road. Larceny from Motor Vehicle. Caller reports that his vehicle was entered into overnight.

Perp Search & Transport. September 12. Cottage Street / Grace Church Street. Assist Other Police Department. Assisted Port Chester with canvass of city line area for criminal mischief incident possibly involving a shot gun. Looking for a red vehicle nfd. Canvass of Grace Church St from Midland Av to line clear. Cottage St clear. Midland from 5 pts to Cottage clear. Assist with felony stop and transport of 1 male suspect to Port Chester PD

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night. September 12. Woodland Drive. Welfare Check. Mail carrier reports that the front door of the above location has been open for 5 days. He rang the doorbell and no answer and the mail has been accumulating. front door open interior of premise checked no one home, front door secured.

Floating Away. September 12. Forest Avenue. Assist Citizen. home owner of 965 Forest Ave advised me of a gray inflatable that broke loose from its mooring and has beached itself onto a neighbors property. She believes it belongs a resident, at _ Fords Ln. Went to the Residence of _ Fords Ln. No answer. Spoke to a neighbor they will contact him about the inflatable.

Lights Out #1 September 12 (11:08pm). Boston Post Road / Sonn Drive. report of youths making a lot of noise outside. po anjo dispatched. Homeowner having a small gathering in the backyard. Condition corrected.

Lights Out #2. September 13 (12:07am). Reymont Avenue. Loud Party. caller states very loud party at above location/. homeowner agreed to move the party inside.

Lights Out #3. September 13 (12:53am). Martin Road. Loud Party. loud music. OV Call:
party ending, music turned off.

Causing a Row. September 13. Milton Harbor House / Milton Road. Gate Guard at Milton Harbor House reports a group of 7 people walking into the ground without mask. She stated that when addressed they claimed not to know that it was private property. The guard found then “theatening and disrespectful”. Dog of leash as well. Spoke with the gate guard. Guard stated that she did not call, and that a resident called. Parties were members of the row club who wanted to watch watch their children row. They did not know that 720 Milton was private property. Parties left once gate guard advised them. No Police Action Required.

Fishing, 5 Bites, No One Caught. September 13. 5 Locations: Rye Town Dock, Rye Town Park, Edith Read, Kirby Lane, Island Drive. Environment Conservation. Checked fisherman. No violations observed.

Bambi vs. Car. September 14. Barlow Lane. Animal Struck By MV. Deer struck by a vehicle. deer dead upon arrival, request DPW be notified to pick up.

It Should Be on Your Wedding Ring Finger. September 14. Drake Avenue. Property Lost. CALLER STATES THAT SHE CANNOT LOCATE HER ENGAGEMENT RING AND HER WEDDING RING AND WOULD LIKE TO FILE A REPORT. RESIDENT WILL FILE REPORT AT A LATER TIME. Incident Reactivated.

Unexpected Showing. September 14. Claremont Avenue. BBC Security reports Front door activation, ____ Residence, PO Jones/Salguero disp. set off in error by real estate agent ______.

Misfire. September 14. North Street / Nursery Lane. Assist Citizen. 911 call stating shots fired in area. PO Jones, Calcagni and Kapus disp. area checked with negative results of any shots fired..possible backfire of cars on highway negative results for shots fired. Report prepared.

Flagging Problem. September 15. Griffon Place / Oakland Beach Avenue. Dan from DPW reports a moving truck with no flag man blocking the road. 97 GETTING FLAGGERS.

Will Need to Plant Seeds. September 15. Hunter Lane / Sunset Lane. Rye DPW reports that there is some type of issue with a contractor at the above location. It is reported that the contractor is upset that DPW’s Garbage truck damaged a piece of equipment. Damage to grass. Contractor stated it’s okay and that he will repair the damage. Parties settled. No need for report.

Always New Jersey Plates. September 15. Forest Avenue / Halls Lane. Suspicious Person. Caller states she observed a white male possibly in his 70s urinating IFO her house. Stated the party left in a white sedan with NJ plates towards the area of Halls ln. Spoke to party. elderly male was lost. escorted him to the Marriott.

Driving Suspicion. September 16. Midland Avenue / Peck Avenue. Suspicious Vehicle. caller states that a red SUV has been parked in the rear lot of Avon, off Midland ave and it appears to be suspicious. po calcagni dispatched.

Cuyahoga (see cultural reference). September 16. Marine Unit Building / Milton Road. Environment Conservation Comp. At approximately 1705 hrs, responded to report of a sailboat at “D” dock discharging fuel/oil into waterway. Found vessel bearing NY registration ______ with a substance floating on surface of water around vessel. Observed this “slick” spread in small areas to surrounding vessels. Subject vessel was unoccupied at the time of observation. Contacted Boat Basin Supervisor who stated he was aware of incident and had made contact with vessel owner. Boat Basin Supervisor to followup with incident.

That, Is Smokin’. September 16. Marine Unit Building / Milton Road. Vessel In Distress. Observed vessel bearing NY registration 5325ME entering City Marina with engine difficulty. Operator stated he lost his reverse gear. Assisted operator to get vessel to head dock. Noted smoke and a burning smell from vessel’s engine compartment area. Examined engine compartment and found vessel engine was overheating. Stayed with vessel while engine cooled. Owner unable to restart engine at this time. PB2 towed vessel to its assigned slip without incident. Vessel owner to seek further mechanical assistance at later time.
