Elves Lobby Santa to Consider Rye Move; Rye PD Saves Christmas Holiday

Santa Claus toured Rye for a pre-Christmas drive by tour this past Saturday, November 28th. Santa expressed great interest in Rye, its history and its football program.
Sources also tell MyRye.com Santa’s elves had uncanny knowledge of the local housing market and spent the afternoon encouraging Saint Nick to consider relocating from the North Pole. The elves kept asking when Mrs. Claus would visit, calling her the “decision maker”.
Like any visiting dignitary, Santa received a protective escort from Rye PD. Santa thanked Rye PD and the local Rye PBA for running its annual Toys for Tots toy drive. It is an important step to make sure all boys and girls receive joy during the holiday season. Note the Toys for Tots drive is now active and our readers can drop unwrapped toys at Rye PD headquarters 24 hours a day.
Beyond providing protection for Kris Kringle, Rye PD may have saved the Christmas holiday for all of us. It’s true. Trying to fit in with the various elves, Rye PD identified the Grinch, arresting him and removing this bad influence using the Rye PD paddy wagon. Under questioning, when the Grinch could not express happiness at the prospect of a pancake breakfast and Poppy’s, the PD knew they had their man.
Overall it was a joyous day for the children and the adults and Rye.
