In a Second Match Friday, Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving In Loss to Arlington

The Rye – Rye Neck Winter Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving team lost a second match Friday, classified as an away game, to Arlington 75 to 93. Rye now moves to a 3-3 and 1 season.

“Senior Geoffrey Lien took home two wins in the 50 and 100 freestyle,” said Varsity Swimming & Diving Head Coach Kelly Johanson. “He’s now ranked 19th in the Section in the 50 free. He’s also tied for 22nd in the Section in the 100 free.”

Sophomore Will Rupp took home two wins in the 200 free and 100 backstroke. Relay team of Lavelle, M. Capaldi, Lien and Redd took home the win in the 200 Medley. The 400 Free Relay of Lien, O’Connor, Lavelle, Rupp also took home the win.
