Four COVID Cases: Rye Middle School (2); Rye High (2)

Wednesday night the Rye school district reported four cases of COVID – two at Rye Middle School and two at Rye High School.

Dear Rye High School Families, Faculty, and Staff,

The District was informed this afternoon of two individuals at Rye High School who have tested positive for COVID-19. The individuals are currently in quarantine; one was last in school January and the other on Monday, March 15. Due to federal health privacy laws, additional information about the individuals cannot be released. All individuals required to quarantine have been contacted today by the District via telephone and email.

Please be assured that we will continue to do everything in our power to keep the Rye High School community safe.

The District was informed late last night and early this morning of two individuals at Rye Middle School who have tested positive for COVID-19. The individuals are currently in quarantine and were last at the school on Monday, March 15, and Tuesday, March 16. Due to federal health privacy laws, additional information about the individuals cannot be released. All individuals required to quarantine have been contacted today by the District via telephone and email.
