Girls Varsity Basketball Puts Eastchester in a Hutch in Quarterfinal
Rye Girls Varsity Basketball puts Eastchester in a hutch on Wednesday, winning a quarterfinal game versus Eastchester at home 54-38.
“Natasha Meyer played a solid game at point guard,” said Rye Girls Varsity Basketball Margo Hacket. “Sam Talt, Tatum Dailey, Anne Dailey, Hailey Ryan, Molly Richardson, and Ava Mitchell played solid minutes for us. Natalia Roman, Kristi Nolte, and Bailey Goodman did a great job off the bench. Maddy Walsh had an impressive varsity debut as a freshman!”
Scoring highlights included Amanda Latkany with 16 points, Mara Ball with 7, Hannah McGovern, Emily Eckerson, and Audrey Porter with 5 each. The team record moves to 10-2.
