It’s the Garnets first voyage to the shadows of the “new” Tappan Zee Bridge to windmill long-time SWIAC and CWL for the SLEEPY HOLLOW HEADLESS HORSEMAN in the true heart of the Hudson Valley. Watch out for Icabod Crane and Rip Van Winkle and a slew of characters from Washington Irving’s legendary fables. Even in the 60s Sleepy always sported the primo unis from their striped basketball shorts to the silver helmets with red horseshoes mimicking those of the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts. The Horsemen chant “Hollow High”, but it’s the Garnets you can’t deny as Rye looks to go 29-12-1 (.690).
