Oh how they’re pawing the pathways of Harrison’s new Beaver Brook Park with unbridled enthusiasm. The mutts are howling at the moon all over Brentwood drooling with eager anticipation. What gives rise to such optimism in Harrison’s Purchase? They want this one so badly they have forsaken their Milk Bone treats for the pandemic’s fourteen months. Want what you might ask? Of course, a victory over the Garnets of Rye for only their second time in the last twenty-one attempts dating back to 2003. The Garnets control the longstanding series up five wins at 47-42-3 (.528) their widest margin ever over the HARRISON HUSKIES since the rivalry’s 1929 inception.
