It was a heartbreaker.
Rye Boys Varsity Baseball fell in the bottom of ninth to Mamaroneck 4-2 on Monday afternoon.
“Peter and Paul Angelastro combined for 9 innings of 4 run ball (3 earned) in the extra inning affair,” said Rye Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Mike Bruno. “Mamaroneck won on a two run walk off HR in the bottom of the 9th by Zach Kringdon.”
The season drops to 4-1. Other game highlights included:

- Tillman Ball RBI,
- Jack Margiloff and Aidan Sullivan 2B.
Garnets will host Mamaroneck Wednesday at Disbrow at 4:30pm.
