Rye fell to the Harrison Huskies at an away game Saturday, 3-1.
“Aidan Sullivan was the receipt of the Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Award,” said Rye Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Michael Bruno. “Aidan also went 2-4 at the plate. Ryan Surhoff had the only RBI for the Garnets.” Andrew Gurgitano was a Harrison baseball player who passed away in his sleep six years ago during his sophomore season.
The season shifts to 8-3. The Garnets get to bark at the Huskies again Monday afternoon at home.
