Caught Napping. May 13. Central Avenue. Suspicious Vehicle. Caller reports a woman slumped over the steering wheel of her car. party checks out 98.
Flushing Out the Bushes. May 14. Playland Park. Assist Other Police Department. WCDPS reports approx. 100 youths in the rear of the park near Edith Reade. Several vehicle exiting Playland lot upon arrival. RTP is clear. group dispersed.
Wiry Problem. May 14. Forest Avenue / Rockridge Road. Utility-Wire Down. RESIDENT REPORTS A WIRE DOWN IN THE ROADWAY ON ROCKRIDGE RD. No obstruction to roadway. Wires are all intact. 98.
A Trap, Not a Hazard. May 14. Long Island Sound / Milton Harbor. Environment Conservation Comp. AYC staff reports traps dropped in the harbor, possible hazards to navigation. Whelk pots along Scotch Caps, do not appear to be in violation of nav or encon laws.
Rising Tide. May 15. Rye PD Marine Unit Building / 650 Milton Road. Assist Other Agency (Not PD). The marina staff reports a car blocking a boat that they need to put in the water
at high tide. Located the car owner working on his own boat and he was advised
and agreed to move the car when the boat is ready to be launched.
Shhh! May 15. Barberry Lane / Holly Lane. Noise Complaint. Caller reports loud party. PO Delgado / L. Anderson Disp. Music turned down and party was dispersed.
Too Edgy. May 16. Long Island Sound / Oakland Beach. Noise Complaint. caller advising of a possible party on beach near waters edge. PO Delgado / L Anderson Disp. Vehicles were seen leaving the area upon patrol arrival.
Left Area with a Bang. May 16. Rye Neck School Gym / 300 Hornridge Road. Fireworks. caller reports loud fireworks being used at football field. cars 12 and 18 sent. searched area GOA. 90.
Reeled in Problem. May 16. Playland Park. Assist Other Police Department. assist county pd locating injured fisherman on rocks. ems and car 18 sent. TOT WCPD.
Checking Out. May 16. Marriott Courtyard / 631 Midland Avenue. Suspicious Person. front desk advises of a male refusing to leave from lobby. cars 12 and 18 sent. Party identified. he left the lobby and was waiting outside for a ride.
Bored, Skating Into Trouble. May 17. Rye Rec Skate Park / 281 Midland Avenue. Noise Complaint. caller reports kids being loud in said area. car 18 sent. 3 youths skateboarding sent on their way all in order 98
Not Bird Watching. May 17. Marshlands Conservancy / 230 Boston Post Road. Trespass of Real Property. caller lives at — Barlow lane and is stating that groups of youths have parked out and front of her property and are entering the Marshland after hours. cars 12 and 11 sent.
