In Memory: William A. Seleno, Age 87
William Arthur Seleno, a Rye resident for over 50 years, passed away on July 26, 2021. William was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on January 21, 1934. He was the son of William and Theresa Seleno (nee Goldrick). William graduated in 1959 from Columbia University. He proudly served his country in the Army Airborne, raising to the rank of Major.
William’s career started at Coldwater Seafood where he became an executive in Food Distribution. He married Burghild Kehr and together they raised their two children.
William is survived by his loving wife Burghild Seleno, his daughter Natasha Seleno and son William Seleno; and two grandchildren: Peter and Kyla Seleno.
The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Tuesday August 3, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A service will be held at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in William’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
