A core group of eight young men entering Rye High School this fall, who have known each another since their years at Osborn Elementary, completed ten days of pulling, digging, shoveling and planting to rebuild and refresh the Wainwright House‘s Labyrinth.

The labyrinth is designed for spiritual exploration and meditation. Visitors walk the labyrinth, eventually winding up at its center where there is a bench for further contemplation. It can be found on the side of the Fonrose House, overlooking Milton Harbor.

Max Bajuk, Bill Chen, Thomas Chen, Jack Gilroy, Aden Hess, Ben Hubbard, Ben Peron and Harry Waters weeded, mulched and planted their way to spiritual enlightenment and high praise from an assembled group of adults including Rye Mayor Josh Cohn.
