City Warms of Heavy Rain, Flash Flood Watch

The City issued a warning of possible heavy rainfall Wednesday evening into the early hours of Thursday:

“Please be advised that a cold front may bring a period of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight. There is a marginal risk of excessive rainfall/flash flooding with this system. FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. The City has safety and public works staff ready to assist.”
