Lock Your Vehicles. July 8. Billington Court. Suspicious Person. Homeowner reports male with dark clothes attempted to enter their vehicle being a White BMW. canvassed area, neg results.

Bang and Bust. July 8. Oakland Beach / Long Island Sound. Fireworks. COUNTY PD REPORTS THAT THERE ARE PATRONS ON OAKLAND BEACH SETTING OFF FIREWORKS. NO FIREWORKS SEEN ON ARRIVAL, SPOKE WITH LARGE GROUP ON RYE BEACH AND INFORMED THEM FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT RYE TOWN PARK/BEACH. 10-98.

Buoy the Buoy. July 9. Scotch Caps, Long Island Sound. Nav Hazard. While on patrol, observed West Rock / Danger Buoy submerged at high tide. Most likely due to mooring chain fouled below water. Used PB2 to reposition buoy and freed entanglement. Buoy resurfaced and operating normally.

Ding, Ding, Ditch. July 9. Coolidge Avenue / Park Avenue. Neighborhood Trouble. group of six teenagers described as male whites going up and down park avenue ringing door bells and leaving the location. BACKED. Area canvassed. Negative results 10-98.

Need Guard. July 10. Waters Edge, Forest Avenue. Suspicious Person. caller states kids are jumping fence to pool. also people fishing on said property. car 15 sent. PARTIES ADVISED TO GET OFF ROCKS AND SENT ON THEIR WAY, 98.

Trashy Behavior. July 10. Milton Road. Assist Citizen. Caller reported that someone dumped garbage in his dumpster. 10-2 in regards.

Gonna Be Trouble @ Home. July 10. Hen Island, Long Island Sound. Property Lost. Walk-in reported that he lost his wedding ring in the Long Island Sound near Hen Island.

Drunk Man Walking. July 10. Greenhaven Road. Aided Case. Caller reported a possible intox walking down the street. Party described as wearing a white T shirt and Khaki shorts. backed.

Thrown Back. July 13. Waters Edge, Forest Avenue. Assist Citizen. Caller reported fisherman on the rocks. fisherman was advised to leave location.
