Milton School
Teachers
Julianne (Julie) Befi, Special Education Teacher, Milton Elementary School
Ms. Befi comes to Milton School from the Roxbury Elementary School in Stamford, CT, where she worked as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher for first and second grade students since 2017. Ms. Befi has also worked as a Teacher Assistant in the Tuckahoe Central School District and as a substitute teacher in the Appoquinimink School District in Delaware. She completed her student teaching at the Bunker Hill and Old State Elementary Schools in Middletown, DE. Ms. Befi has a B.S. in Education from the University of Delaware and an M.Ed. in Special Education from Pennsylvania State University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Jamie Fusco, General Education Teacher, Milton Elementary School
Ms. Fusco comes to Milton School from The Bayard Taylor School (P.S. 158) on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she worked as a general education and a special education teacher to Kindergarten and first grade students in both co-taught and solo teaching classrooms. Ms. Fusco
has a B.A. in Sociology and Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.A. in General Education Grades 1-6 from Hunter College, and New York Special Education Advanced Certificate from Touro College in New York City.
Alyssa Solazzo, Art Teacher, Milton Elementary School
Ms. Solazzo comes to Rye from the Daniel Webster Elementary School in New Rochelle, where she worked as both an art leave replacement and a substitute teacher. She is also an art class instructor at Art XO Studio, a family-focused arts and crafts studio in Irvington, N.Y. She conducted her student teaching at Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle. Ms. Solazzo has a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Masters in Visual Arts Education, both from Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y.

Ms. Julissa Marcano, School Psychologist, Osborn Elementary School
Dr. Marcano comes to Osborn School from the Dobbs Ferry Middle School, where she spent three years as the School Psychologist, working with students grades six through eight. She conducted her year-long school psychology internship at the F.D. Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, N.Y. and her year-long practicum with students grades K through five at Fostertown ETC Magnet School in Newburgh, N.Y. Ms. Marcano has a B.A. in Psychology from Iona College and an M.A. in School Psychology, both from Marist College. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Ms. Marcano is currently completing her Doctor of Psychology degree in School Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
