Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball came up short on its match with Byram Hills Wednesday. Byram managed to summit the Garnets with a close 3-2.
“Tough loss today,” said Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach Geri Jones.
Match highlights included:
- Match scores: 17-25, 25-12, 25-19, 21-25, 7-15
- Leyla Murati had 16 kills, 5 ace serves
- Dylan Deertz had 18 digs
- Ella Erickson had 25 assists
- Isabel Hurley and Ashley Kessner had 6 kills
The season shifts to 3-2. The Garnets play a tournament at Pelham on Saturday.
