Not Groundhog Day. September 8. Purchase Street / Ridge Street. Disabled Vehicles. 60 control reports mva with injuries. NO MVA OCCURRED, MOTORIST ADVISED THAT HE JUST RAN OUT OF GAS AND THE DAMAGE ON HIS VEHICLE WAS FROM A MVA THAT OCCURRED ON TUESDAY. MOTORIST ASSISTED. 10-98.

Not Feeling Secure. September 9. Rickbern Street. Assist Citizen. party states that a salesman keeps returning to his residence harassing him to purchase a security system 3 days in a row.

Dust-Up. September 10. Club Road. Assist Rye Fire Department. HOMEOWNER REPORTS THAT SHE RECEIVED A HEAT DETECTION ALARM FROM HER ALARM COMPANY. FD DISPATCHED. All in order. Work going on at the residence and was set off by dust. 98.

Bambi Down. September 10. Midland Avenue / Playland Parkway. Animal Struck By MV. REPORT OF AN INJURED DEER ON PLAYLAND PKWY NEAR MIDLAND AVENUE. DEER LOCATED ON THE EE/B SIDE OF PLAYLAND PKWY OFF THE ROAD BEFORE CHARLOTTE ST. 10-98

No Pussyfooting Around. September 10. Theodore Fremd Avenue. Assist Citizen. Walk in states her daughter is in possession of her cat and she would like it back. Complainant states she “takes care of” cat, ownership is unclear at this time. Sworn statment taken for documentation purposes.

Taxi Flagging Passenger. September 11. Grace Church Street / Kirby Lane. Suspicious Vehicle. NY: _____ stopped in the middle of the road, flagged down by passerby stating man was yelling. it was an Uber driver attempting to find his pickup, party checks.
