Boys Varsity Hockey Capitalizes the Albany Academy Cadets
Rye Boys Varsity Hockey capitalized the Albany Academy Cadets on Sunday, winning the away game 9-0.
“Seth Dorfman led the way for us, scoring a hat trick in his first varsity game,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.
Jaxson Doornick, Nathan Tietjen, Tommy Richardson, Liam Draddy, Dean Kim, and Tommy Broderick (1st varsity goal) also scored for the Garnets. Brandon Morgan made 23 saves for the win while recording his first varsity shutout.
After its opening weekend, the Garnets are 2-0. Varsity plays at Pelham Tuesday at 5pm.
