Boys Varsity Hockey Turns the Talons on the ETBE Eagles
Rye Boys Varsity Hockey turned the talons on the ETBE Eagles on Wednesday. The Garnets flew away with the win 12-0 leaving nothing in the nest for the Eagles.
“Jaxson Doornick set the tone for us playing an exceptional game defensively while also contributing offensively with a goal and three assists,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.
Game highlights included:
- Tommy Richardson 4 goals and 1 assist,
- Seth Dorfman 2 goals and 4 assists,
- Dempsey Brown 1 goal and 3 assists,
- Nikolai Bazalitski 2 goals,
- Ivan Vasyuta 1 goal and 1 assist,
- Henry Bagley 1 goal,
- Nathan Tietjen 2 assists,
- Dean Kim, Bryan Thomas, Liam Draddy, James Kennedy, and Will Weinman each had 1 assist.
- Brandon Morgan made 9 saves for the shutout win.
The Garnets are now 13-4. The team plays leaves Thursday evening to play at the Lake Placid Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
