Boys Varsity Baseball Composts the Huskers
Rye Boys Varsity Baseball composted the Yorktown Huskers on Friday, piling on just enough heat to win 1-0 at home.
“Shepherd Griffiths was masterful scattering 3 hits over 8 shut out innings to earn the win,” said Rye Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Mike Bruno. “James Kennedy scored on a single in the bottom of the 8th by Dillion Schmidt to secure the win. The run was set up by a leadoff walk by AJ Miller and a sac bunt by Charlie Rupp. The team heads to Florida on Sunday.”
