Rye Girls Varsity Golf was bear hugged by the Ursuline Koalas on Thursday, falling short 251 – 219 at the home match.
“Rye had a difficult match against Ursuline, the defending state champions,” said Rye Girls Varsity Golf Coach Rich Savage. “Both Myla Bisceglia and Matilda Glitterstam finished the 9th hole with a birdie.”
The Garnets are now 5-2. Rye will travel to take on Ursuline again Monday with a 4:15pm start.
