Girls Varsity Lacrosse Bridges Tappan Zee
Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse bridged Tappan Zee on Thursday, winning across the river 21-9.
“Huge TEAM Win for the Garnets today at TZ! Congrats to Charlotte Lorraine (2G), Mary Ebeling (1A), Annie Toulouse (1G), and Alex Wood (1G) on notching their first varsity offensive points in today’s win!,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Michelle Mason.
“We played a well rounded game today vs TZ! Although they scored the first goal, we grabbed momentum, began to capitalize, didn’t look back and were dominant in both halves. We had strong performances for Karenna Chader (1H) and Katherine Ebeling (2H) in goal today, splitting time and doing their job. Our defensive unit was dialed in and executing our systems. Our offense was full throttle with 12 players contributing with goals and assists! Once again our draw team showed up and worked as a unit, accounting for 21 possessions for the Garnets. It was a fun game and showcased our growth over the last 6 games. All players were integral in today’s victory!”
