Boys Varsity Baseball Ahead of Rye Neck
Rye Boys Varsity Baseball landed ahead of Rye Neck on Monday, winning the home game 1 – 0.
“On Senior day – Tyler Winderman carried the team on his back,” said Rye Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Mike Bruno. “He pitched 9 scoreless innings to earn the win. Dillion reached first on an IF single in the 9th. He later can around to score on a throwing error. Great win against a very good Rye Neck team that came in with a 14-4 record. George Katsaros was tremendous in the loss for Rye Neck Pitching 9 innings of unearned ball.”
The Garnets are 11 – 6 – 1 for the season. Varsity travels to Harrison Tuesday for a 4:45pm game.
