Rye Boys Varsity Baseball muzzled the Huskies on Tuesday at home with a 2 – 0 shutout.
“Shepherd Griffiths was fantastic in a complete game shutout over rival Harrison,” said Rye Boys Varsity Baseball Coach Mike Bruno. “The 2-0 win clinched a share of the league title with Harrison. Charlie Margiloff got things going with a single in the 6th – a sac bunt by Tommy Broderick and a RBI single later ( scoring pinch runner Alex Lee ) by Julian Pasquale and the Garnets were up 1-0. Tyler Canna later added some insurance with and RBI double.”
