Girls Varsity Lacrosse Tames the Broncos
Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse tamed the Broncos on Saturday, winning at home 7 – 5.
“Today was AWESOME! The stands were packed with families, friends, and the incredible RYL community to support the Garnets in today’s game!,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “We put together a full game against Bronxville and showed our defensive prowess. Paige Vanneck had an outstanding defensive game while Paige Tepedino, Shay Ott, and Ella Buckley were impenetrable throughout the majority of the game. Mali White had a standout game, scoring clutch goals at the right time. Karenna Chader notched her 200th career save on the first save of the day and competed 3 more stops for the Garnets! Our draw team did their thing and our offensive unit was dialed in to execute the game plan and strategy. Huge W for the team on a special senior day!”
