Bowman Dam Over Top, Highland Lot Flooding
Around 12:00pm noon Friday, September 29th the Rye PD reported the Bowman Avenue dam, a major water containment area for the City of Rye, has over topped.
The Highland Road parking lot, adjacent to the Blind Brook is also flooding. The City is removing cars from the lot (at the owner’s expense). Cars were lost in this area during Hurricane Ida.
